Hereford House Wichita in Terradyne Country Club
When you pull onto Terradyne Drive, you will probably be under the assumption that you may be lost! But don't turn around, you are definitely in the right place! The Hereford House is tucked away inside of Terradyne Country Club. The building is lush with dark wood, fireplaces and breath taking views of the Scottish Links golf course. I must say there's not a bad seat in the house!
Sterling Silver Beef
Hereford House is unlike other establishments that you may find in the city for many reasons. For starters, we proudly serve Sterling Silver Beef from Cargill. Our Chefs will hand select and cut your steak to order. After you have chosen your favorite cut of beef, the chef's place it on our double sided broiler that cooks 1200 degrees. It creates a nice sear on the steak to lock in all the flavor and juices that Sterling Silver beef is known for.
Nothing pairs better with a Sterling Silver Steak than a glass of wine from your favorite vineyard. Wine service at the Hereford House is like non other in the Midwest. We believe in decanting all wines, red or white, sparkling or still. Drinking wine from a varietal specific glass is truly the only way to go.
Let's not forget about our decadent desserts! From the made from scratch carrot cake tour White Chocolate Bread Pudding, there is always something that is sure to please your palate. But don't forget about Port wines, Cognacs and espresso's are another way to cap off a wonderful meal as well.
We always accept reservations whether it's a special night for just the two of you or a group heading out for Sunday Brunch. Please do not hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The wedding that you and your fiance plan is a huge part of your amazing, lifelong journey as a couple. Don't let your ceremony be anything but the extraordinary! Today, I am going to talk about some fun, practical and unique ideas for your wedding to inspire your upcoming day.
Number #1: Carry a bouquet that will last forever.
Unlike fresh flowers, a fabric bouquet won't wilt, fade, or die. If an aunt, mother, cousin or grandparents has an eye for arts and crafts you might be in luck asking them to make a fabric bouquet that is customized to your specific color palette and it is something special made by your family member that will play a prescence in your mind forever. You can even have a special heirloom brooch sewn into the bouquet to remember someone special on your wedding day.
Number #2: Perform a "knot-tying' ceremony.
A knot-tying ceremony is similiar to the unity ceremony but it involves a fisherman's knot. The couple ties the knot together to form a very strong knot, the knot only gets tighter with pressure and cannot come undone which represents the couple's everlasting strength.
Number #3: Have your guest book available at the ceremony.
If your ceremony takes place near your reception, have your guest book display out and ready for signatures. The best place for this at the Hereford House would be in the room that leads out to the patio. More specific the room is called the Hearth Room and you can rent the room, just ask the event specialist. Having the guest sign in book located in the Hearth Room ensures that guests have a chance to see it and sign it before the reception gets started.

Most Saturdays are already full for the summer months, but venues often have a tougher time booking those Friday and Sunday dates. Many couples are opting for a late Friday ceremony and celebration or a Sunday afternoon event and reception. (Since they're not prime days, you may even be able to get a break on the room rental or catering minimum.) Don't worry; those guests who are important to you will still come to your wedding, just as long as you tailor your plans to the day. Friday couples may want to consider serving hors devours before the ceremony to quell the hunger guests may feel during the ceremony. Sunday brides and grooms might think about when thier guests attend church and other religious activities, then schedule around that.
I know most of you girls already have a vision of what you are trying to accomplish whether it be a theme, color scheme, food or decorations. Try and take things step by step, simplify. Remember wedding plan is a process and does not have to be in one week. Pinterest boards can get overwhelming especially if you have more than 20 or more boards and believe me, I have seen a bride that had 40 different Pinterest boards. If you are planning your wedding a year in advance do your research pin ideas that you like but when it come to 3-4 motnhs prior to your wedding try and stay off of Pinterest, it can confuse you if anything new and exciting pops up in the wedding world and you want to redo all of your work that you have done.
Save the date or maybe the month
Let everyone you hope that is going to attend the ceremony and reception know a date is coming. Be creative in the way you announce it. Even if you only give them a date-or even a month-of when you plan to do it, they'll now start to clear their schedules to attend and help you in the weeks leading up to it. Out-of-town guests can even start making travel plans.
